"We never realized the extent of how many good old friends we had in Chelsea and the Village: Leroy Street, St. Francis Xavier, St. Bernard's, Guardian Angel, St. Columba, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 17th Street CYO, Hudson Guild, Greenwich House, The Paddock, basketball in the kiddie pool on 17th Street Park and then going south to 13th Street Park.  There was stickball, stoopball, softball, baseball, basketball, roller hockey on 15th Street, 21st Street and 28th Street park, the old RKO on 23rd Street and bowling at Fred's on 14th Street.  What memories and great fun we had with the greatest people in the world."
