Chelsea Chicks Invade Florida

On January 8, 2005, my wife Susan and I hosted a gathering at our house in Wellington, Florida. What a day it was with the Chelsea Chicks arriving in rare form sporting their "hot" pink t-shirts. The guest list included Debbie Gilson (Kovalsky), Susan Harper (Pezzella), Sharon Bagley, Peggy Sullivan (Cordero), Tommy Demers, Martha Parker (Demers), Patty Corcoran (Boss), Marylyn Bolster (Magan), Tom and Pat Murphy, Mike Cordero, Ron Boss and Richie Magan. We feasted on shrimp cocktail, hors d'oeuvre, barbeque chicken, sausage and peppers, linguini with garlic and oil and plenty of good drinks, including Apple Martinis and Stoli Rasberi. There were many laughs and even some tears but the hit of the day was the Karaoke. We did not want it to end. We’re hoping this becomes an annual event. The fun continued on Monday night at the Demers’ Boca Raton condo where we enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, appetizers, and drinks before dinner at Max’s Grill. Later we took a stroll on Tom and Martha’s private beach. What a crew and what a fantastic time we had!

Next UGHA Show, 1/29/05 - Whiskey Café, Lyndhurst, NJ

Featured guests include the Legends of Doo-Wop, Jimmy Gallagher (Passions), Tony Pass (Fascinators), Frank Mancuso (Imaginations) and Steve Horn (5 Sharks). For more information call Bill Smith at 201-529-1852.

Web Site Anniversary

I can’t believe it has been a year since we launched the Chelsea Village web site. We’ve had almost 40,000 hits and still going strong. This is a remarkable accomplishment for a neighborhood that has produced so many wonderful friends. The reunion and all our wonderful memories are our biggest highlights and I hope we continue to remember and enjoy each other.
